The bulk configuration operation will not attempt to configure any ports that are not marked as selected by a green tick.

For convenience, ports can also be added to the selection according to their type, e.g. all connected ports, using the Add Ports by Type dialog box.

To add ports to the selection according to their type, first highlight the devices in the tree that contain the ports to be added. Then click the Add by Type… button, which will display the Add Ports by Type dialog box, shown in Figure 317 above. Now choose the type of ports to add to the selection, by clicking on the appropriate type, followed by the OK button.

The dialog box will now be dismissed, and all ports belonging to the highlighted devices that match the chosen type will be added to the selection.The tree will be updated to show a green tick next to each port that was selected. Any ports that were previously selected will not be removed.
