VLANs

This tab, as shown in Figure 16, displays the following:

VLAN IDs — whether to list VLANs that could not be correlated with each other but that have the same VLAN ID as a single VLAN or multiple VLANs. They will be listed as multiple VLANs by default.

VLAN membership — whether to include devices in a VLAN based only upon their configuration or based upon the network topology as well. Devices are included in VLANs based upon both their configuration and the network topology by default.

Retry/Timeout

This tab, as shown in Figure 17, allows you to set the default number of retries and the timeout period to use for various types of request when communicating with devices for discovery and monitoring purposes.
