6Choose the name of the device that has suffered the hardware failure from the list of devices shown.

7Click Next to display the Specify Backup To Use step and select the most recent backup available for the failed device from the list of available backups.

8Click Next to display the Summary step and select Finish to start the Device Restore operation. You must wait until the operation has completed successfully. The Device Restore operation will automatically locate all of the existing backups for the failed device and re-associate them with the replacement device.

9Now that the replacement device has a suitable software configuration to be swapped in to the network, you can configure it with the IP address of the failed device. Disconnect the replacement device from the management station and swap it with the failed device to complete the task.
