17Click Add to launch the Add Subnet dialog box again.

18In the Add Subnet dialog box enter the subnet address and mask of the subnet associated with the second VLAN.

19Select the Discover custom ranges: radio button.

20Click OK to add the new range to the list of ranges to discover on the subnet.

21Edit the Start IP address so that it is set to the IP address of the database server.

22Edit the End IP address so that it too is set to the IP address of the database server.

23Note that the Use defaults from Tools > Options dialog box option is already cleared and the values in the retries and ms timeout fields are already set to the numbers of retries and timeout periods that you determined for the various request types.

24Click OK to add the subnet to the list of subnets to discover.

25Repeat steps 17 – 24 for the third VLAN, setting the Start and End IP addresses to the IP address of the NBX call processor.

26Click Next to move onto the Monitor Core Devices and Links step.

27At the Monitor Core Devices and Links step, select the No option. You will configure the monitoring later according to the requirements of the
