The settings for each of the autonegotiation parameters will only be applied as part of the configuration template if the associated checkbox is checked. In addition, the Advertised Capabilities parameter will only be enabled if the Mode check box is checked and the Mode parameter is set to Auto.

The Autonegotiation feature places restrictions on the values which can be set for the following parameters.

Parameter	Restriction

Mode	The mode of operation for the port can be one of: auto,
	10HD, 10FD, 100HD, 100FD, or 1000FD.
Advertised	The list of operational modes that the port advertises
Capabilities	during autonegotiation can be any combination of: 10HD,
	10FD, 100HD, 100FD, 1000FD, and Flow Control.

This configuration feature panel will be considered invalid if the advertised capabilities list box is enabled, and the Flow Control option is selected, but no Full Duplex entries are selected.
