4In the first step of the wizard, include the Registered column in the report, as well as columns that help you identify the device (for instance, Device Name, Product Number, Serial Number). Click Next.

5In the second step of the wizard, give the report a name and (optionally) a description. Click Next to show the Summary dialog box and click Finish.

6Click OK to close the Custom Report Types dialog box.

7In the Report Types table, click the name of the report you created and click on Generate Report to launch the report as shown in Figure 256.

When you view the report you have generated the Registered column shows:

■Yes — if 3Com Network Director registered the product.

■No — if 3Com Network Director did not register the product.

■N/A — if the product is not supported by the Device Warranty feature.
