Specifying Monitoring Mode and Poll Rates at the Subnet Level

You can only change the monitoring type and poll rate settings for a subnet if you are not using automatic monitoring mode for the whole map.If you are not using the automatic monitoring mode and wish to change these settings for a particular subnet, open the Monitoring tab of the subnet’s Properties dialog box:

By default all subnets will inherit their settings from the Tools > Options dialog box.In order to change the monitoring mode and poll rates for a subnet you will need to uncheck the Use defaults from Tools > Options check box, after which you can set the monitoring mode and poll rates for the subnet.
