selected item if a single device or link was selected, or Multiple if there was more than one item in the selection, and filters for events that were generated by the selection.
To change the items that the Events list is filtered for, click Select. This launches the Select Item dialog box:

From here you may choose to turn off filtering based on item by selecting All devices and links, or you may select which items to filter on by selecting Specific device or link.
The list of items only includes those devices and links that events have been generated for, along with a special entry, Network, for 3Com Network Director internal events. Multiple items may be selected in the same manner as multiple events may be selected in the Events list.
Show only voice related events Filter
Checking the Show only voice related events checkbox filters for those events that may affect the status of your 3Com NBX voice system. See “Understanding

This field filters for events that have a specific severity.
