Components 605

The values for Max Age and Forward Delay Time must additionally conform to the following rules:

Max Age >= 2 x (Hello Time + 1)

Max Age <= 2 x (Forward Delay - 1)

If necessary the feature will automatically adjust any values specified for the Hello Time, Max Age and Forward Delay parameters to ensure that the configuration conforms to the rules governing STP parameters.

Configuring IGMP

The IGMP feature allows the user to control the way in which the devices handle incoming IGMP traffic.

The settings for each of the IGMP parameters will only be applied as part of the configuration template if the associated checkbox is checked. The value for each of the IGMP parameters can be set to either Enabled or Disabled.

Configuring Broadcast Storm Control

The Broadcast Storm Control feature allows the user to control the way in which the devices respond to a network broadcast storm.
