D ADDING TONER

D ADDING TONER

When D is displayed, it is time to supply toner.

RWARNING:

•Do not incinerate used toner or toner containers. Toner dust

might ignite when exposed to an open flame. Dispose of the used toner containers according to local regulations for plastics.

RCAUTION:

•Do not eat or swallow toner.

• Keep toner (used or unused) and toner containers out of reach of children.

RCAUTION:

•This machine has been tested for safety using this supplier's

parts and consumables. We recommend you only use these specified supplies.

Important

❒If you use toner other than that recommended, a fault might occur.

❒When adding toner, do not turn off the operation switch. If you do, your set- tings are cleared.

❒Always add toner after the machine instructs you to add toner.

❒Do not use used toner. This will damage the machine.

Note

❒You can still make about 50 copies after the D appears, but replace the toner early to prevent poor copy quality.
