INDICATORS

When the Receive File Indicator is Lit or Flashing

If the Receive File indicator is blinking, a message has been received and stored in memory with Memory Lock. You need to print it out manually. ⇒ P.114

“PRINTING A FILE RECEIVED WITH MEMORY LOCK”

If the Receive File indicator is lit, a message has been received but could not be printed for some reason. The message was stored in memory (Substitute Recep- tion). When you solve the problem, the message will be automatically printed out. The table below lists some problems that could have caused Substitute Re- ception to take place and their solutions.
