EV Controller Order

Enables or disables loading the adapter BIOS if the Con-

 

verged Network Adapter is selected as the first controller in

 

the system BIOS\boot controller order. If this parameter is dis-

 

abled, the adapter BIOS loads in any CMOS location, allow-

 

ing the system to boot from a Fibre Channel drive (boot LUN),

 

even after other devices, such as a 3.5-inch disk or CD-ROM

 

drive. The default is disabled. This parameter is primarily for

 

compatibility with legacy servers.

 

 

Primary FCF VLAN ID

Enables or disables the use of the primary VLAN ID.

 

 

Scan Fibre Channel Devices

The Scan Fibre Channel Devices option displays information for all devices on the Fibre Channel loop. This information is useful when configuring the adapter and attached devices and includes the loop ID, vendor name, product name, and revision. You can also use this option to confirm that the adapter FCoE function is operating in the fabric.
