7.8 Test operation mode

The test operation mode is designed to confirm servo operation and not to confirm

machine operation. In this mode, do not use the servo motor with the machine. CAUTION Always use the servo motor alone.

If any operational fault has occurred, stop operation using the forced stop (EMG) .

POINT

The test operation mode cannot be used in the absolute position detection system. Use it after choosing "Incremental system" in parameter No. 1. The servo configuration software is required to perform positioning operation.

Test operation cannot be performed if the servo-on (SON) signal is not turned OFF.

7.8.1 Mode change

Call the display screen shown after power-on. Choose jog operation/motor-less operation in the following procedure. Using the "MODE" button, show the diagnostic screen.

Press UP three times.

Press SET for more than 2s. When this screen appears, jog feed can be performed.

Flickers in the test operation mode.

Press UP five times.

Press SET for more than 2s.

When this screen is displayed, motor-less operation can be performed.
