Startup Error Messages

When starting SunPCi III 3.2.1 software, you might encounter one of the following

error messages.

Command not found Make surethat the SunPCi III program directory—by default,

/opt/SUNWspci3/bin— is in your environment $PATH. Refer to your Solaris

documentation for instructions on how to set up your $PATH variable.

Correct Solaris

Installation

Required

If you do not have the correctSolaris installation on your Sun system, you will

encounterissues when attempting to start SunPCi III software. SunPCi III software

requiresat least the End User System, Developer System, or Entire Distribution

installation of Solaris software.SunPCi III software does not run when you only

have the CoreSystem installed. Ask your system administrator for assistance in

determining which system is installed on your Sun system.
