removed. If the power cords are not removed, an electrical failure may occur.

8.4 Enabling the Removal of Memory
Thissection describes the preparations that must be completed prior to the removal
ofmemory. The preparation procedure differs depending on the maintenance type as
follows:
Active/Cold maintenance
Inactive/Cold maintenance
System-stopped maintenance

8.4.1 Active/Cold maintenance

1. Open the rack door.
2. Logi n to the XSCF shell.
3. Executethe showlogs command to identify the component requiring
maintenance.
