Note- When you addor remove CPU memory units, confirm that no error has occurred.

Note- In the case of a d ual power feed, make a note of the locations of the power cords
beforedisconn ecting them to ensure that they are reinstalled correctly.
Note- Whe n the CPU memory unit lower is replaced, all of the XSCF setting information
maybe lost. Perfor mt his operation only after backing up the XSCF setting information.
1. Open the rack door.
2. Logi n to the XSCF shell.
3. Executethe showlogs command to identify the component requiring
maintenance.

5. Poweroff the physical partition requiring maintenance.

7. Removeal l the powercords from the PSU backplane unit of the chassis

7.3.3 System-stopped maintenance

3. Executethe dumpconfig command to backup the XSCF setting information
onlywhen replacing the CPU memory unit lower in a singe-chassis
configuration.
