3. Releasefrom the physical partiti on thechassis in which the PCIe card
requiringmaintenance is mounted.
a. Referencingstep 5 i n "13.3 CheckingIf PCI Hot Plug (PHP) Can Be Used,"
confirmthe logical domainsto which the PCIe root complex and PCIe slot
ofthe chassis with the maintenance target mounted are assigned.
b. Executethe ldm list-bindings <domain name > commandfor these logical
domains to confirm the name of the guest domain to which t he virtual
service (vsw, vds) is provided.
Inthe fo llowing example, "rootdom", the logical domain name to which the
PCIecard is assigned, is specified.
*1: Guest domain that uses the virtual device
*2: Virtual disk backend
c. If theguest domain that uses the v irtual device is found in step b, log in to
theg uest domain to stop the use of the virtual device.
Ifthe virtual device is used by the duplication function, release it using the
duplication function so as not to use the target virtual device.
d. Ifthe l ogical domainsconfirmed in step a are I/Odomains, stop the I/O
domainsand delete the assigned PCIe slot.
Ifyou need to restore the original configuration after performing maintenance
onthePCIecard,makeanoteofthedeletedPCIeslotandthedomainname
in advance.
