11.1 Configuration of the Fan Units
Thissectio n describes the configuration and the locations of the fan units.
Fivefa n units are mounted in each chassis. Each fan unit has two cooling fans that
coolthe components in the chassis.
Ifa fa ult occurs with a cooling fan during system operation, the XSCF detects the
error.However, the system can continue operating because the fans have a
redundantconfiguration.
