13.7.1 Active/Hot maintenance (with PHP)
1. Displaythe Oracle Solaris super-user prompt.
2. Executethe cfgadm -c command to start the power supply to the PCIe card
requiringmaintenance.
Enterthe Ap_ID you noted in advance.
3. Executethe cfgadm -c command to incorporate the PCIe card requiring
maintenanceinto the logical domain.
Enterthe Ap_ID you noted in advance.
4. Executethe cfgadm -a command to confirm that the PCIe card requiring
maintenancehas been incorporated into the logical domain.
Inthe following example, [Receptacle], [Occupant], and [Condition] contain
"connected", "configured", and "ok", respectively, which indicates that the PCIe
cardrequiring maintenance is incorporated into the logical domain.
5. Executethe svcadm disable command to disable the hotplug service.
6. Ifyou deleted the virtual device and the virtual service in "13.4.1 Active/Hot
maintenance(with PHP)," add them based on the information you made a
noteof and reassign them to the guest domain.
