#ldm remove-vswitch <virtual network switch>
#ldm remove-vdisk <virtual disk><

#ldm remove-vdiskserver <virtual disk service>
#svcadm enable hotplug
IfMPxIO performs management, use the mpathadm command to display the
devicepath of the physical hard disk corresponding to a LU. Then, confirm
theph ysical device path of the PCIe card that is connected to the physical
hard disk.
c. If the virtual disk service to which the PCIeca rdrequir ingmaintenance is
assignedis found in steps a and b, see the [CLIENT] part for the virtual disk
service displayed ins tepa. Confirm the v irtual disk andguest domain to
which the backend of the virtual disk service is assi gned.
Thedisplay format is "<virtual disk>@<guest domain>."
4. If there is any guest domainthat isv irtually using the PCIe card requiring
maintenance, delete the vi rtual device (vnet, vdisk) and the virtual service
(vsw,vds).
a. Logi n to the guest domain to stop the use of the virtual dev ice.
Ifthe virtual device is used by the duplication function, release it using the
duplication function so as not to use the target virtual device.
b. Delete the virtual device and the virtual serv ice using the ldm command
from the control domain.
Ifyo u needto resto reth eo riginal configuration after performing maintenance
onthe PCIe card, make a note of the setting information in advance.
- For virtual network
- For virtual disk
5. If thePCIe card requiringmaintenance belongs to the root domain, connect to
thec onsole of the root domain.
Ifit belongs to the control domain, operations are performed from the control
domainconsole. Thus, you do not have to perform this step.
6. Executethe svcadm enable command to activate thehotplug servi ce.
7. Executethe cfgadm -a command to confirm the Ap_ID of the PCIe card
requiringmaintenance and its status.
Confirmthe Ap_ID and make a note of it.
Inthe following example, [Receptacle] and [Occupant] contain "connected" and
"configured",respectively, which indicates that the PCIe card requiring
maintenanceis incorporated into the logical domain.
