Caution- Toco mpletely shut down the system, all the power cords must be
removed. If the power cords are not removed, an electrical failure may occur.

■Don ot bend the crossbar cables (optical) unduly. If you unduly bend a crossbar
cable (optical), it may be damaged. Ensure that the static/dynamic bending radius
ofthe c rossbar cable (optical) is no less than 35 mm (1.4 in.).

Cable (Optical)
Thissectio n describes the preparations that must be completed prior to removing a
crossbarcable (optical). The preparation procedure differs depending on the
maintenance type as follows:
■Inactive/Cold maintenance
■System-stopped maintenance
25.3.1 Inactive/Cold maintenance
1. Open the rack door.
2. LogintotheXSCFshell.
3. Executethe showlogs command to identify the component requiring
maintenance.
