Caution - To completely shut down the system, all the power cords must be
removed. If the power cords are not removed, an electrical failure may occur.
Note- Active/hot maintenance is supported only for a redundant configuration.

10.3 Enabling the Removal of a PowerSupply Unit
Thissection describes the preparations that must be completed prior to the removal
of a power supply unit. The preparation procedure differs depending on the
maintenancetype as follows:
Active/Hot maintenance
Active/Cold maintenance
Inactive/Hot maintenance
Inactive/Cold maintenance
System-stopped maintenance

10.3.1 Active/Hot maintenance

1. Open the rack door.
2. Logi n to the XSCF shell.
3. Executethe showlogs command to identify the component requiring
maintenance.

5. Executethe replacefru command to release the power supply unit requiring
