25.1 Configuration of the Ports for the
Crossbar Cables (Optical)
Thissection describes the configuration and the locations of the ports for connecting
thecr ossbar cables (optical).
Thecr ossbar cables (optical) are used to connect the SPARC M10-4S to a crossbar box
in ab uilding block configuration (with a crossbar box).
Eachcrossbar cable (optical) has a number that corresponds to a port number on the
chassis.A port number is assigned to each pair of ports. Crossbar cables (optical)
should be replaced as a pair, therefore.
