6. Connect the two cables to the fan shelf.
7. Install thel owercov er and then securei t with the onescrew.
8. Install the upper cover.
9. Slidethe right and le ft stoppers of the upper cover outwards and thensecure
thecove rwith the two screws.

22.6 Restoring the System
Thissectio n describes the procedure for restoring the system after installing the fan
backplane.
1. Connect all the power cords to the power supply unit of the crossbar box
requiringmaintenance.

2. Returnto the operation of theXSCF firmware replacefru command to confirm
thatthe fan backplane has been incorporated into the system.
For details, see "6.1 Incorporating an FRU into the System with the replacefru
Command."
3. Poweron all the physical partitions.

4. Closethe rack door.
