24.3 Enabling the Removal of a Crossbar
Cable (Electrical)
Thissection describes the preparations that must be completed prior to removing the
crossbar cables (electrical). The preparation procedure differs depending on the
maintenancetype as follows:
■Inactive/Cold maintenance
■System-stopped maintenance
24.3.1 Inactive/Cold maintenance
1. Open the rack door.
2. Logi n to the XSCF shell.
3. Executethe showlogs command to identify the component requiring
maintenance.

4. Confirmthe hardware and software configurations.

5. Poweroff the physical partition requiring maintenance.
