2.To clear the communication errors, the ETU must be removed in software (M.B. 4Cl) then reprogrammed.

3.If an ESI-E( ) ETU or SLI-E( ) ETU is removed in

software and then reprogrammed, all

assignments for those stations are reset to Default values.

i This area of the memory block is used to check the status of a port. When checking the status of a port, three 1

:; basic items are checked. These are; ETU type, whether the system acknowledges the port through software 1

errors.
