During step 4 the display shows any current
area and office code assigned to the code number
and table chosen.
Each table can have a maximum of 8 code
numbers (entries).
Depressing the ENTER key causes the display to
increment to the next code number in the table.
The * key is used to enter three *‘s in the area
and/or office code positions. These three *‘s
represent any digits dialed, from 1 - 0, *, and #.
The # key is used to enter blanks in the office
and area code position areas. (Blanks (-1 are
shown in the corresponding positions).
Any time an area code is programmed, blanks
cannot be left in the office code position.
