5.4Activate RECORD mode and converse with called party.

5.5Upon completion of the call, place the handset on-hook and stop RECORD.

5.6Remove the remote plug from the jack, rewind the tape and playback the recording.

5.7Reconnect the remote plug for recording of the next call.

6.PROCEDURE

6.1Disconnect the line and handset cord from the Dterm telephone.

6.2Place the Dterm II upside down on a clean, flat work surface.

6.3Slide the Directory out and place it aside.

6.4Remove the accesspanel by-applying pressure (at the notch of the panel) and slide the accesspanel out as

shown in Figure 1. .

6.5Unscrew the two captive screws from the bottom of the housing. Separate the upper and bottom housings as shown in Figure 2.

6.6Route the #22 AWG four conductor stranded cable from the tape recorder through the accesspanel window.

6.7Make the wire connection to the spade lug connectors on the PCB. Refer to Table - 1 and Figure 3 for these connections

6.8Place the upper and bottom housings together, secure with the two captive screws that were removed in step 6.5.

6.9Following the pre molded guides inside the accesspanel cover assembly, route the Remote and MIC cables through this notch. Refer to Figure 4.
