THE ELECTRA MARK11

1.DESCRIPTION

This Engineering Technical Information (ET11Bulletin describes the steps necessary to install an ADA-E (Ancillary Device Adaptor1 into an ETE-GD-1, ETE-16D-1, ETE-16K-1, or ETE-6-1 Multiline Terminal, for the connection and operation of a cassette tape recorder with remote controlled microphone.

2.LIMITATIONS

2.1For the recorder to function automatically, the handset must be used.

2.2To rewind or playback the recordings, the remote plug must be removed from its corresponding jack.

3.1ADA-E Adaptor kit. (Stock #700340)

3.2Cassette tape recorder.

NOTE: The recorder must have remote microphone capability to be automatically triggered by hookswitch.

3.3One l/8 inch Mini Phone Plug.

3.4One 3/32 Micro Phone Plug.

3.5#22 AWG four conductor stranded cable.

3.6Four small spade lug terminals to lit wires in step 3.5 (locally provided).
