7.2Electra Markll Programming

7.2.1A CO line appearance representing the CO port for the Viking products must be assigned to the appropriate stations that will be answeiing and controlling them. MB 1A can be used for this assignment.

7.2.2To control the Viking RC-2A Door Release, a * must be sent first; therefore, MB 2A5, Line Key 1 must be turned off.

7.2.3DTMF digit duration must be increased for sending control codes to the Viking RC-2A Door Release. The CO part that the Viking products are connected to, MB 481, Line Keyes 5-8 must be changed to OFF-OFF-ON-OFF.

7.2.4Test the Viking W-1000/W-2000, and RC-2A for proper operation in conjunction with the Electra Markll.

7.3For configuration 2.2 (Handsfree Doorbox connected to COI-E/EB ETU). See Figure 2.

7.3.1Determine the location for mounting the Viking W-1000/W-2000 Handsfree Doorbox and/or Viking RC-2A Remote Touch-Tone On/Off Industrial Controller Door Release. Ensure that there is an indoor 12OV ac power source nearby.

7.3.2

Install the COI-E/EB ETU in an available interface slot (if a COI port is not already available). The

 

COI-E/EB ETU port to be used must be set as a Loop Start Trunk.

7.3.3Using the 24 AWG one pair wire, punch down the wire onto the Tip and Ring of the available COI port at the MDF.

7.3.4Connect the other end of the 24 AWG one pair wire to the Viking W-1000/W-2000 as shown in Figure 2.

7.3.5Connect the power supply to the W-lOOOM/2000 and plug into the nearest 120V ac outlet.
