IGMP Snooping

The following are examples of the commands used in the IGMP snooping feature.

CLI: Enable IGMP Snooping

The following example shows how to enable IGMP snooping.

(Netgear Switch) #config

(Netgear Switch) (Config)#set igmp

(Netgear Switch) (Config)# set igmp unknown-multicast filter (Netgear Switch) (Config)#exit

Web Interface: Enable IGMP Snooping

1.Configure IGMP snooping:

a. Select Switching > Multicast > IGMP Snooping Configuration. A screen similar to the following displays.

b.For Admin Mode select the Enable radio button.

c.For Unknown Multicast Filtering, select the Enable radio button.

d.Click Apply.

Show igmpsnooping

The example is shown as CLI commands and as a Web interface procedure.
