Network Interface Card Chapter 8

Jumper switch setting

Address Selection

Either one of two memory address blocks can be used to access the com- mon memory interface. The two memory address blocks are named CS1 and CS2. The CS1 space is used when only one card is being used. Use jumper switch JP2 to select the address space. Setting the jumper switch pin to 1-2selects CS2, while pin setting 2-3selects CS1.

Bus Handshaking

The bus handshake signal can be changed to match the print controller being used. In the case of this Digital Copier, the handshake signal is the WAIT signal (OP3 pin 2 and 3 setting).
