The NIC Board must be mounted to use the scanner functions.

1.3Connecting the Controller

The controller is installed inside the machine. The installation procedures are to be performed by service personnel.

The controller is connected to the computer by a printer cable or network cable. Power to the controller is supplied from the machine.

Tip

If you cannot print from your computer, make sure that the printer ca- ble or network cable is connected to the corresponding connectors.
