This section describes how to set up a remote printer on the host that sends jobs to the Network Card using the Network Card’s lpd.

1At the prompt, type:

#smit spooler

2On the window that appears, select Manage Remote Printers.

3On the menu, select Client Services.

4On the next menu, select Remote Printer Queues.

5On the next menu, select Add a Remote Queue.

6Change the values on the window that appears to the settings for the Network Card.

The values that first appear on the window are initial defaults. You must replace the short and long form filter values with the values shown below.

7 After inputting all the values you want, press		Enter to complete the
configuration.
