When working with the output queue description (WORKOUTQD), you must provide information for a number of fields in order to allow the Net- work Card to function properly as a remote printer device.

When prompted for the remote system, type INTNETADR so the AS/ 400 system recognizes the device as an IP device.

Input an appropriate name (like PORT1) for the remote printer queue name.

Connection type must be IP.

Internet address must be the Network Card IP address.

Destination Type must be OTHER.

In response to the message asking if you want to convert SCS to ASCII, type YES.
