Note

Depending on the model you use, the Network Interface Board , the 1394 Interface Unit, and the 802.11b Interface Unit cannot be installed to the printer at the same time. For more information, see p.11 “Installing Options”.

Important

Before touching the Network In- terface Board, touch something metal to discharge any static elec- tricity. Static electricity can dam- age the Network Interface Board.

Use the shielded twisted-pair (STP) network interface cable.

B Confirm that the followings are true:

C If the Duplex Unit is attached, push down the lever on right side (A) and pull out the Duplex Unit until it stops (B).
