802.11b Interface Unit Type A

Note

Depending on the model you use, the 802.11b Interface Unit, the 1394 Interface Unit, and the Network Interface Board cannot be installed to the printer at the same time. For more information, see p.11 “In- stalling Options”.

Important

Before touching the 802.11b Inter- face Unit, touch something metal to discharge any static electricity. Static electricity can damage the 802.11b Interface Unit.

A Check the contents of the box for the following items:

B Confirm that the followings are true:

The power switch is turned off.

The interface cable is un- plugged from the printer.

Note

If the Duplex Unit is not at- tached, go to step D.

C If the Duplex Unit is attached, push down the lever on right side (A) and pull out the Duplex Unit until it stops (B).

D Use a coin to remove the two screws.
