Remote Maintenance by telnet

When the Network Interface Board is reset, the active print job which has already been sent to the machine will finish printing. However, jobs that have not been sent yet will be canceled.

Commands List

Use this command to display remote maintenance use.

Type “help” to see a list of commands that can be used. msh> help

Type “help command_name” to display information about the syntax of that command.

TCP/IP address

Use the ifconfig command to configure TCP/IP (IP address, subnet mask, broad- cast address, default gateway address) for the machine.

Available when the 1394 Interface Unit Type 4510 is installed.

You can specify an interface when installing the optional 802.11b Interface Unit Type A.
