Welcome panel

The Welcome panel displays information for the current account logged on the system. The administrator is prompted to change the password before any programming menus are accessible. This panel will be displayed on the first login to the BCM by nnadmin, when the administrator has selected the forced password change option on an account, or if the password has expired. See Figure 1.

Attribute	Value	Description

User ID	<read-only>	User ID you used to log on to the system.

Password	<alphanumeric>	To change password, select the field and enter new
		password. The password must satisfy the password
		policy requirements for the system. See the BCM 4.0
		Administration Guide (N0060598) for more
		information on password requirements.

Once the password has been changed the entire navigation tree is accessible. See Figure 2.
