3.1.13.7 Deleting a program (ºDELETEº)

Using the ºDELETEº function you can either delete each program singly, or a sequence of programs.

Sequence of operation

Operate the ºPART PROGRAMº and ºPROGRAM HANDLINGº softkeys, one after the other, in any of the operating modes:

PRESET / JOG / AUTOMATIC /

INC 1...INC 10 000 / REFPOINT.

Deleting an individual program:

Using the keyboard, enter the desired program number º%...º (or ºL...º), and operate the ºDELETEº softkey.

The program entered is deleted by the control.

Deleting a sequence of programs

Using the keyboard, enter for example, º% 2º, operate the º=º key, and enter for example º% 5º.

DELETE

Operate the ºDELETEº softkey.

All programs from º% 2º to º% 5º inclusive, are now deleted by the control.

Note:

The memory space cleared by deletion of the programs will become available again only after ºREORGº (see Section 3.1.13.8).
