3.2.11 ºActual value settingº mode (ºPRESETº)

·In the ºPRESETº operating mode, you can offset the control zero point to any point within the machine coordinate system.

You enter the value for the offset into the actual value memory (preset).

The actual value memory for the X and Z axes can be preset. This preset results in a ºPRESET offsetº, which is displayed on the CRT.

·When required, a tool offset can be calculated into the ºPRESET offsetº.

You enter the tool offset data before ºActual value settingº (offset number, offset direction and type). The value then entered is transferred into the actual value memory taking the tool offset into account.

·No movement of the axes takes place with ºActual value settingº.

·The ºPRESET offsetº remains stored:

±after ºEnd of Programº

±after ºRESETº

Machine data defines whether the PRESET offset is automatically deleted ;

-by switching on the control

-by traversing to reference point
