4.6 Listing of the alarms/alarm description

Alarm No.	22
Alarm Text:	ºTime monitoring RS232C (V.24)º
Reason:	Delay of 60 sec. for data transfer exceeded
Remedy:	±	Check external device
	±	Check cable
	±	Check setting data 5017 and 5025
	± Set bit 0 to º1º.
Alarm No.	23
Alarm Text:	ºChar. parity error RS232C (V.24)º
Reason:	Punched tape dirty or damaged
Effect:	± RS232C (V.24) transfer is interrupted
	± the last block is not stored
	With block transfer: faulty cable
	±	RS232C (V.24) transfer is stopped
Remedy:	Check punched tape
	With block transfer: Check connection
Explanation:	Depending upon the definition of the start of program º%º or ºEORº,
	the NC automatically establishes the ISO or EIA code upon receipt of
	this character, and establishes the character parity.
	With block transfer: Each character of a data block is checked for
	character parity and the block itself for BCC.
	When checking the characters or the block, it was established that one
	character did not have the set parity.
Remarks:	Do not switch off control, data may be lost.
Alarm No.	24
Alarm Text:	ºInvalid EIA character RS232C (V.24)º
Reason:	An EIA character with the correct parity was read in, but the character
	was not defined in EIA code
Effect:	± Data transfer is interrupted
	± The last block is invalid
Remedy:	check punched tape:
	Setting data 5026 (EIA code for º@º) and
	Setting data 5027 (EIA code for º:º)
Explanation:	The º=º character in EIA code is not defined, and the following data
	cannot be read in:
	%TEA1		(NC machine data)
	%TEA2		(PLC machine data)
	%TEA5		(Drive machine data for SERCOS interface)
	%TEA6		(Drive machine data for parallel interface)
	%RPA		(R parameters)
	%ZOA		(Zero offsets)
	%TOA		(Tool offsets)
	%PCA		(PLC Alarm text)
