The following parameters can be configured:

From Port / To Port

Enter the port or port list you wish to configure.

 

 

Class ID

Select the Class ID, from 0-7, to configure for the QoS parameters.

 

 

Scheduling

Strict – The highest class of service is the first to process traffic. That is, the highest class of

service will finish before other queues empty.

 

Weight – Use the weighted round-robin (WRR) algorithm to handle packets in an even

 

distribution in priority classes of service. When Weight is selected, a field appears next to this

 

field for the user to specify the maximium number of packets. The specified hardware priority

 

queue will be allowed to transmit before allowing the next lowest priority queue to transmit its

 

packets. The value is ranged from 1 to 127.

 

 

Click Apply to implement changes made.

In Band Manage Settings

This window allows the user to specify a priority handling of untagged in-band management packets received by the Switch. The priority value entered in this window will be used to determine which of the eight hardware priority queues the packet is forwarded to.

To view this window, click QoS > In Band Manage Settings as shown below:
