Parameter Description
Access ID (1-100) Type in a unique identifier number for this access. T his value can be set from 1 to 100.
Action Select Permit to specify that the pac kets that match the access profile are forwarded by the
Switch, according to any additional rule added (see below).
Select Deny to specify the packets that match the access profile to be filter ed.
Offset This field will instruct the Switch to mask the packet header beg inning with the offset value
specified:
Offset 0-15 Enter a value in hex f orm to mask the packet fr om the beginning of the packet to
the 15th byte.
Offset 16-31 Enter a value in hex form to mask the packet from byte 16 to b yte 31.
Offset 32-47 Enter a value in hex form to mask the packet from byte 32 to b yte 47.
Offset 48-63 Enter a value in hex form to mask the packet from byte 48 to b yte 63.
Offset 64-79 Enter a value in hex form to mask the packet from byte 64 to b yte 79.
Time Range
Name Tick the check box and enter the name of the Time Range sett ings that has been previously
configured in the Time Range Settings window. This will set specific times when this access
rule will be implemented on the Switch.
Ports Specifies the access rule can take effect on one port or a rang e of ports.
To view the settings of a previously correctly configured rule, click the corresponding Show Details button on the CPU
Access Rule List window to view the following window:

ACL Finder
This window is used to help find a previously configured ACL entry. To s earch for an entr y, enter the profile ID fr om
the drop down menu, select a port that you wish to view, define the state and click Find, the t able o n t he low er half of
the screen will display the entries. To delete an entry click the correspondi ng Delete button.
To view this window, click ACL > ACL Finder as shown below:

ACL Flow Meter
ACL Flow Metering Table is a per flow bandwidth control used to limit the bandwidth of the ingr ess traffic. W hen the
users create an ACL rule to filter packets, a metering rule can be cr e ated to as s o c i ate wit h th is ACL rul e to l i m it traffic.
The step of bandwidth is 64kbps. Due to limited metering rules, not all ACL rules can associate with a metering rule.
