Historical Counter & Utilization

This folder contains two windows to view statistics about packets sent and received by the Switch and Historical Utilization of the CPU and memory.

Browse Historical Counter

This window is used to display statistics about the packets sent and received by the Switch. The counters are set up in 15 minute and one day intervals. There is a maximum of five 15 minute historical statistic entries supported for each port, with one being the most recent 15 minutes of data. The Switch also displays statistics based on a per day basis, with a maximum of two historical statistic entries supported.

To view this window, click Monitoring > Historical Counter & Utilization > Browse Historical Counter as shown below:

The following parameters may be configured:

 

 

Parameter

Description

 

 

Port

Specifies the port you wish to view.

 

 

Packet/Error

Specifies information regarding valid packets or error packets.

 

 

15 Minutes/1 Day

Choose whether to view information relating to 15 minute intervals or 1 day intervals.

 

15 Minutes – Specifies statistics based on 15 minute intervals.

 

1 Day – Specifies statistics based on one day intervals.

 

 

Slot 1-5

Specifies the slot number to display.

 

1-5– Specifes that the 15 minute intervals will be displayed in chronological order with 1 being

 

the most recent.

 

1-2– Specifies that the daily intervals will be displayed in chronological order with 1 being the

 

most recent.

Enter the appropriate information and click Find.
