To set the Access Rule for Ethernet, adjust the following parameters and click Apply.
Parameter Description
Access ID (1-128) Type in a unique identifier number for this access . This value can be set from 1 to 128.
Auto Assign Ticking this check box will instruct the Switch to automatically assign an Access ID
for the rule being created.
VLAN Mask Allows the entry of a VLAN Mask for a previously configured VL AN.
VLAN ID Allows the entry of a VLAN ID f or a previously configured VLAN.
802.1p (0-7) Enter a value from 0 to 7 to specify that the access profile will apply only to pack ets with this
802.1p priority value.
Action Select Permit to s pecify that the packets that match the access profile are forwarded by the
Switch, according to any additional rule added (see below).
Select Deny to specify the packets that match the access profile are not f orwar ded b y the Sw itch
and will be filtered.
Select Mirror to specify that packets that m atch the acces s profile are mirr ored to a port defined
in the config mirror port command. Port Mirroring must be enabled and a tar get port must be set.
Priority Enter a priority value if you want to re-write the 802.1p default priority of a pac ket to the value
entered in the Priority field, which meets the criteria specif ied prev iousl y in this c om mand, bef ore
forwarding it on to the specified CoS queue. Otherwise, a pack et will have its incom ing 802.1p
user priority re-written to its original value before being forwarded by the Switch.

Replace Priority Enter a replace priority manually if you want to re-write th e 802.1p default priority of a packet to
the value entered in the Priority field, which meets the cr iteria specified previously in this
command, before forwarding it on to the specified CoS queue. Otherwise, a pac ket will have its
incoming 802.1p user priority re-written to its original value before being forwarded b y the Switch
Replace DSCP (0-
63) Select this option to instruct the Switch to replace the DSCP value (in a packet that m eets the
selected criteria) with the value entered in the adjacent field.
