5Configure the SWOTO.

Configure the SWOTO separately for each MG 1000T Expansion. The SWOTO command is configured in LD 117:

CHG SWOTO <cab#> <value>

•cab# = 1-4, MG 1000T Expansion

•value = 2 - (120) - 600 seconds

For point-to-point connection (MG 1000T Expansions that are not connected over a LAN), Nortel recommends that you set the timer to a low value to minimize service interruption.
