Inserting a Shielded 50-pin to Serial/ELAN/TLAN adapter on to a

Media Card

1Open the Media Card package NTDU41CA.

2Remove the Shielded 50-pin to Serial/ELAN/TLAN adapter.

3Save the other items from the package for use in “Installing a CompactFlash” on page 330.

4Insert the adapter, shown in Figure 44, into the connector Card 1, Card 2, Card 3, or Card 4 that corresponds to the location of the Media Card.

For example, Figure 45 on page 165, the Media Card is installed in card slot 1. Therefore, the Adaptor is installed in connector Card 1.
