RECYCLE mode. If the water/b rine temperatur e is high e nough, the s tart-up sequence

continues on to check the guide vane position. If the guide vanes are mor e t han 6% open, the

start-up waits un til the PIC close s the vanes. If th e vanes are clos ed, and the oil pu mp pressure

is less than 4 psid (28 kPad), th e oil pump rela y will then be e nergized. The PI C then waits unt il

the

OIL PRESS (Pressure) VERIFY TIME

(operator configured, default 15 seconds) for oil

pressure to reach 18 psid (124 kPad). After oil pressure is verified, the PIC waits 10 seconds,

and then the compressor start relay (1CR) is energized to start the compressor.

Failure to verify any of the requirements up t o this point will resu lt in the PIC aborti ng the start

and displaying the app lic a ble pre-start mode of failure on the LID defa ult screen. A pre-star t

failure does not advan c e th e starts in 12 hours count er. Any failure afte r the 1CR relay has

energized results in a safety shutdo wn, advances the sta rts in the 12 hours counter by one, and

displays the applicabl e shut-down status on t he LID display.
