When the timer ha s been set, check t hat the starter (w ith relay 1CR clos ed) goes throug h a
complete and proper start cycle.
Solid-State Starters
1. Check that all wiring connec tions are prope rly terminated to the starter.
2. Verify that the ground wi re to the starter is insta lled properly and is of su ff ic i ent size.
3. Verify that the motor s ar e pr o perly grounded to the st ar t er.
4. Check that all of the rela ys are properly seated in t heir sockets.
5. Verify that the proper ac input voltage i s brought into the starter per the certified d rawings.
6. Verify the initial fact ory settings (i.e., s ta r ti ng torque, ramp potenti ometers, etc. are set pe r
the manufacturer’s instructions.
This equipment is at line voltage when AC power is connected. Pressing the Stop
button does not remove voltage. Use caution when adjusting the potentiometers
on the equipment.
